Less than a year ago, I published my first poetry chapbook. MISS MACROSS VS. BATMAN was released through CWP Collective Press and the process was quite pleasant and exciting!

Since then, I have thought a lot about self-publishing, asking myself questions like, “Is the effort worth it?” and “Does this make me less of a writer?”  (I’ll answer the latter now: NO, it doesn’t!)

I decided to try self-publishing for the first time through Gumroad. That said, my second chapbook, THE MIDNIGHT PRINCESS, is out today! At this time, it is only available on Gumroad and only as a .pdf file. I haven’t decided yet if I will release it in an .epub format or through another service. I’d like to see how this works first!
