Where I live, April starts in less than 3 hours. With it also starts National Poetry Writing Month! Also known as Global Poetry Writing Month (GloPoWriMo), it was inspired by National Novel Writing Month and has a similar goal: to write 30 poems in 30 days. I decided to sign up as a participating blog, and to that end plan to post my poems here! But rather than clogging your feeds and inboxes with 30 daily posts, I’ll be collecting my poems into weekly posts (probably every 5-7 days).
While I’m a NaNoWriMo veteran, this is my first attempt at the poetry version. I’m very excited for the challenge, to share my work, and to read the pieces that my fellow poets share on WordPress and Twitter!
